Final Problem and Purpose Statement

Problem Statement;

The Muni L-Taraval light rail line in the Sunset District of San Francisco is dangerous for both Muni users and automobiles drivers when passengers disembark.

Purpose Statement:

The purpose of this study was to research and develop a system for creating a safer environment for both passengers and drivers.

Problem Statement; Muni stops set on the road with no station and even platform for users, and it is very dangerous for both of Muni users and car drivers. (ex;L line through Taraval St.)

Purpose Statement; The purpose of this study was to research and develop a solution for making safety Muni stops to prevent unexpected accidents.

I’m a Senior at San Francisco State University majoring Design and Industry with Interdisciplinary. I am in the process of taking my required classes to graduate from the university. Since I have interested in design, I am influenced with Typographic style of Swiss that search and develop its cleanliness and objectivity represented by graphic designers. After I graduated from the university, I want to work in terms of advertisement in Japan. In my future, I hope I could build my style of design and I would like to contribute to our society by my designs.
